LocalLaunch (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a free ad starter kit tool for local service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

By using LocalLaunch, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Business name, type, and website URL
• Location information (city, service area)
• Advertising goals and budget preferences
• Contact information if you choose to provide it

Meta / Facebook data

When you connect your Meta (Facebook) account to LocalLaunch to publish ads, we request access to your Meta Business account via the Meta Graph API. The data we access includes:

• Your Meta Ad Account ID
• Facebook Page IDs associated with your ad account
• Access tokens required to create campaigns, ad sets, and ads on your behalf

We do not store your Meta access tokens beyond your active session. We do not access your personal Facebook profile, friends list, or any data unrelated to ad management.

Automatically collected data

• Usage analytics (pages visited, features used) via Vercel Analytics — anonymized
• Meta Pixel events (PageView) for measuring ad effectiveness
• Standard request metadata (for example IP address and user agent) for security and abuse prevention

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate personalized ad copy, targeting suggestions, and campaign plans
• To create and publish ad campaigns to Meta on your behalf (when authorized)
• To analyze the business website URL you provide after you sign in (for keywords, offers, and kit content)
• To protect against spam and abuse via bot detection
• To improve LocalLaunch features through anonymized analytics

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your business data to train AI models.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate LocalLaunch:

• Meta Platforms, Inc. — to create and manage your Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns via the Meta Graph API
• Anthropic / Google — AI providers used to generate ad copy and recommendations (input data is not stored by these providers per their API terms)
• Vercel — hosting and anonymized analytics
• Upstash — rate limiting (IP-based, no personal data retained beyond session)

5. Data Retention

LocalLaunch is a session-based tool. We do not maintain user accounts or persistently store your business data or Meta credentials. Input data (website URL, business info) is processed in real time and not retained after your session ends.

Anonymized usage analytics may be retained for up to 12 months for product improvement purposes.

6. Meta Platform Data

LocalLaunch integrates with the Meta Platform to help you create ads. Our use of Meta data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies.

You can revoke LocalLaunch's access to your Meta account at any time by visiting your Facebook App Settings and removing the LocalLaunch app.

7. Cookies

LocalLaunch uses minimal cookies necessary for security (bot protection) and session continuity. We use the Meta Pixel to track ad performance (PageView events). You can opt out of Meta's tracking via your Facebook Ad Preferences.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data
• Data portability

9. Children's Privacy

LocalLaunch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of LocalLaunch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
